Black Clock
Maximum attention to the finishing of parts
Every part of the Black Clock is handcrafted and carefully finished. All parts are finished according to classic Swiss finishing standards using polishing, brushing and sandblasting techniques.
2016, exhibition in Basel
The Black Clock was presented by Anton Suhanov for the first time in 2016 at Baselworld, which was the most important event in the global watch industry at the time. The international community of independent watchmakers warmly welcomed the premiere.
Anton Suhanov, the creator of the Black Clock with triple-axis tourbillon, was named the winner of the 2016 Young Talent Competition organized by the Academy of Independent Watchmakers (Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants) with the support of François-Paul Journe, founder of the F. P. Journe Invenit et Fecit brand.
Dial and Case
The round dial is made of solid silver 999 and decorated with the guilloché technique. The dial is covered with white, translucent and opalescent hot enamel. There is a window on the dial through which the rotation of the triple-axis tourbillon can be observed.
The rectangular case of the clock is made of polished black jade. There are crystal windows on five sides of the case through which you can see the rotating tourbillon from all sides. The crystals are set in polished metal frames.
