Anton Suhanov wins the GPHG 2025 Horological Revelation Prize
At the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2025 (GPHG), the Anton Suhanov manufactory was awarded the prestigious Horological Revelation Prize. The victory in the competition was brought by the St. Petersburg Easter Egg Tourbillon Clock — a watch that reimagined the genre of Carl Fabergé's Easter eggs.
The Horological Revelation Prize is a nomination for young watch brands that have been in existence for less than ten years since the commercial launch of their first product. This award focuses not on mass success, but on the “discovery” of a brand with a fresh perspective on the art of watchmaking.
The jury highlighted the originality of the St. Petersburg Easter Egg Tourbillon Clock's concept, the quality of execution, and the high level of technical implementation, on par with recognized names in Haute Horlogerie. The table clock is shaped like an Easter egg with a central tourbillon and world time display in 24 time zones. The model combines minimalist design with “secret” mechanics: the brand's signature “Flaming balance” and a balancing system.
The Horological Revelation Prize is only awarded in those years when there is a truly strong candidate among the contenders. Then the jury sees grounds for single out the brand. Thus, for the Anton Suhanov manufactory, winning the GPHG 2025 is an international recognition and an important step in its development.
Responding to a question about the significance of the award, Anton Suhanov added, “Thank you to everyone who believed in and supported us. This award is an incentive to move forward and do even better.”
